ASCE hosted an event-packed day on March 6. In the morning ASCE and SEACPP went head-to-head in a Can-Struction competition. Earlier in the month, both clubs collected funds to buy cans that would be later donated to the Food Bank. Following the theme of "international monuments" SEACPP built the Pyramids of Giza and ASCE created the Coliseum. Later, ASCE national President-Elect Mark Woodson gave a speech to faculty and students about the upcoming challenges facing the civil engineering field and his personal journey to get to where he is today. Woodson then afterwards judged the can-structures and gave both a perfect 100.
